We went to see fireworks last night. Apparently there had been storms in Yankton Saturday night, so the fireworks display was delayed two nights. We didn't know for sure, but we were hearing lots of loud fireworks booms throughout the early evening, and as it got closer to dusk, we saw more and more traffic headed in the direction of the park. Accalia was still awake and very excited to get to see fireworks, and Cole seemed pretty happy, too, even though he had been sleeping. Accalia oohed and ahhed throughout the show, rolled down the grassy hillside and danced around to the music. Then we headed home, where Accalia fell asleep pretty quickly and it took just a bit longer with Cole.

This was a really weird weekend just for the fact that I felt so aimless and lost throughout. It was kind of that feeling you get when you've just finished a really good book, one where you almost feel as if you're in the book and one of the characters. I should snap out of it soon :) It's so nice to start off the day with opening up the windows and letting the fresh air in. I think it may actually be cooler and not very humid.
