Just another day around here...

Accalia slept in past 9 a.m. today! Not sure why she's suddenly sleeping later in the mornings, but I think it's due to some later nights in the recent past. One of these evenings she'll fall asleep early, I just know it. She's up now thanks to falling asleep for a nap at 5:30. I would've tried to prevent that, but I was nursing Cole to sleep for a nap in the other room.

Thanks to Accalia sleeping in, we were almost late for storytime at the library. Not that it would have been a huge loss...During the school year, story time is restricted to probably 10 children per session, and that's a great size. During the summer, though, there are only two sessions per week rather than 3 or 4, so there are a lot more kids. Today there were around 30, and that makes it almost impossible for the kids to concentrate on stories. It didn't help that there were two college students there who each read a story and weren't extremely successful at keeping the children engaged.

We might go back to the library tomorrow since we had to leave right away and didn't get a chance to pick up new books. We took Lucy to the vet for another brief stay at their kennel in order to help her adjust to being boarded there when the need arises. She did absolutely wonderful, and they brought her out to me panting because they had just taken her for a walk before I arrived.

After Cory came home, we went to the chiropractor and I only needed one adjustment to my left knee! After we first moved back to Yankton, both of my knees were giving me a ton of trouble, and some days it hurt so much to just bend down. Things are getting much better, but it's usually my left knee that bothers me. When we were camping this weekend, I had to show Cory a kung fu move (can't remember exactly why, but I'm sure it was to show him how scary I am), and I don't have quite enough range of motion yet to attempt that. Sigh.
