My other blog is down right now, although hopefully it's only temporary. I have no idea if anyone checks here anymore, but that's okay. Sometimes it's just nice to blog for the sake of blogging.

Cory came home this afternoon from an overnight trip to visit his parents. His mom has changed so dramatically in just the week since we were there, and we don't expect her to live more than a few days at the most. Cory said she's lost even more weight and that her eyes are so tired and sunken. He also said her color was beginning to change. Mary is so, so tired and is ready to go. This is the hardest thing we've ever gone through as a family, and I know it's going to be even harder when she's actually gone.

While Mary didn't have breast cancer, there's a great fundraiser going on to support breast cancer research. Take a look here.

Tomorrow is Take Back Your Time Day. Take it easy, everyone, and take it slower and spend time doing the things that are really important with the people who are important to you.

Last night Cole was playing with wooden alphabet blocks. He brought one to me and said "dog" as he pointed to the letter "D." What a smartie.
